Wendi Bergamini     singer

CEO & Founder of The Broadway Gram

 

A California native, Wendi has appeared on Broadway most recently in Disney's Frozen (original cast member). She made her Broadway debut in the Lincoln Center Theatre's sweeping production of South Pacific, and went on to play the strong spined secretary Miss Olsen opposite Kristin Chenoweth and Tony Goldwyn in the hit revival Promises, Promises. Wendi has also appeared on Broadway in Evita starring Ricky Martin, and in Dr. Zhivago. She has appeared on 4 broadcasts of The Tony Awards, and may have already performed live in your living room in NBC's The Sound of Music Live. With 4 national tours under her belt, you also may have seen her at a theatre near you, including playing the fiery role of Franca in the 1st national tour of The Light in the Piazza. When she's not gramming or performing, Wendi is loving on her two young kids and holding down the fort! Noah J. Ricketts is SO happy to be a part of The Broadway Gram Family!

Having spent that last 6 years on Broadway in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and playing the oh so lovable Kristoff in Frozen on Broadway... Noah is thrilled to bring his talent directly to you! If you can't wait to have him for your Broadway Gram ... check him out on television as River in High Fidelity on Hulu and as Kai in American Gods on Starz Network. As a native Kentuckian .. Lauren Nicole Chapman     singer

Lauren Nicole Chapman is a Michigan native! She attended Interlochen Arts Academy graduating with a theatre concentration. Lauren then went on to receive a bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Emerson college in Boston. Shortly after, Lauren moved to New York City where she began working professionally in theatre and tv/film. She has performed with both the Broadway and Touring companies of The Tony award winning musical “Kinky Boots,” and just recently Lauren was seen in Frozen on Broadway as the standby for Princess Anna. When not on Broadway, Lauren performs at renowned nyc concert venues such as 54below and Joe’s Pub, teaches theatre master classes in the city and is a part of several new musicals in their early developmental stages. Lauren is a joyful spirit and loves to make other people laugh and smile as much as she can and would be thrilled to bring joy and music to the comfort of your own home.

Stephanie Jae Park    singer

Stephanie Jae Park is thrilled to join The Broadway Gram family! She is looking forward to getting back on the road when our theatres reopen, as she plays Eliza in the Philip National Tour of Hamilton. She was also in the original Broadway casts of The King and I (Tuptim u/s) and War Paint.  Other credits include Cinderella (Marie u/s, 1st Nat’l tour), Sunday in the Park with George (NYCC), The King and I (Tuptim, the Muny), and more. When she’s not on stage, Stephanie is a songwriter with an upcoming EP in Fall 2021, and a member of Range Music NYC. Music has saved her in trying times (like Covid-19!), and she cannot wait to bring some joyful music to YOU! Tamar Greene   singer

Tamar Greene is the current George Washington in the Broadway company of HAMILTON. Prior to joining the Broadway company, Tamar played the role of George Washington in the Chicago company of Hamilton for a year and a half through its closing. Some of his favorite roles include Collins in RENT, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Charlie in Show Boat at the Lincoln Center and broadcasted on PBS, Fisherman in the Broadway National Tour of The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, Quartet Leader in After Midnight, Curtis in Sister Act, Booker T Washington in Ragtime, and El Dancairo in the opera Carmen.

Tamar is an accomplished voice teacher who leads a robust studio and frequently presents masterclasses and guest lectures at high schools, universities, and major corporations around the country. Tamar proudly holds his Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music in Vocal Performance and Literature and a B.A. in Music with a focus in Vocal and Piano Performance and a B.A. in Computer Information Systems from SUNY Oswego. Charissa Hogeland    singer

Charissa Hogeland was most recently seen on the St James stage in Disney’s Frozen on Broadway as ensemble and the Elsa understudy. Other credits include Nicola in the 1st National tour of Kinky Boots, Veronica in Heathers: the Musical Off-Broadway, Sally Bowles in Cabaret at the Arden Theater, and in Las Vegas’s Baz: Star Crossed Love as Daisy Buchanan. Film credits include roles on Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live, and AMC’s The Son. Charissa is so excited to sing for you & hopefully bring a whole lot of joy to your day!

Robert Creighton    singer

Robert most recently starred as the Duke of Weselton in Disney’s Broadway musical FROZEN. Other Broadway credits include: THE LION KING (Timon), THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD (Durdles), ANYTHING GOES (Purser/Moonface), CHICAGO (Amos), THE LITTLE MERMAID (Chef Louis), CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, and JACKIE MASON’S LAUGHING ROOM ONLY.  He is co-author and was the star of the hit off-Broadway musical CAGNEY which ran in 2016-17 for over 500 performances and will play London’s West End in 2021. For that role he won the Fred Astaire Award for Outstanding Male Dancer and was nominated for the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards as best Lead Actor in a Musical.  He was a recurring guest star on the CBS series The Good Fight as Clarence Kolb. Other guest-starring roles include Elementary (CBS), Law & Order (NBC), The Family (ABC), and Life on Mars (ABC). Suzy Perelman    violinist

Violinist Suzy Perelman has been playing Broadway shows for the last 17 years including Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Evita and over 30 others. She plays Bach every morning, loves practicing romantic era repertoire, and dabbles a bit in fiddling! A former member of the Utah and San Antonio Symphonies, Suzy performs in orchestra concerts, recitals, and shows regularly throughout the NY area. Recent venues have included Merkin Hall, the 92nd Street Y and Carnegie Hall. Recent shows have included The Unsinkable Molly Brown, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Evita and Cats. Suzy loves practicing her violin and spends hours doing it every day. When not practicing, Suzy loves cycling, word games, long walks, flying trapeze, Israeli dancing, traveling and hanging out with family and friends. She is also the teacher of 10 young violin students studying the Suzuki Method. Any piece Suzy plays on the violin she can play while hula hooping :)

Micah Young    pianist (and the best sing alongs!)

Micah Young is a very popular Broadway conductor and pianist, having played on several Broadway shows in the last 12 years! He most recently served as the music director for the National Tour of the Tony-winning musical Fun Home.  He was also the conductor for the original production of the Tony Award winning best musical, Spring Awakening as well as playing in the pits of many Broadway productions including: Mary Poppins, Mamma Mia, Chicago, Promises, Promises, Porgy and Bess, Cinderella Bye, Bye, Birdie! and White Christmas.  He has been awarded the Best Music Director in the New York Theatre Festival for Crossing Swords, as well being the music director for Pageant (Off-Bway) nominated for a Drama Desk Best Revival, and A Christmas Memory (Irish Rep) nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Best Musical.  Here at The Broadway Gram, he enjoys playing the piano and singing along to your favorite songs!

Lynette Wardle    harpist

An orchestra harpist, chamber musician, recording artist, and soloist, Lynette Wardle enjoys a varied and rewarding performance career. She has been recognized for her “refined tone production and spot-on rhythmic sense.” In addition to being the principal harpist of both the Richmond Symphony and the Albany Symphony, she performs regularly with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.

Lynette can be heard on Grammy Award-winning Albany Symphony recordings, and Original Cast Albums for Amélie, the Musical, Renascence, The Beast in the Jungle, and The Mad Ones. For the holiday seasons, she has been in the orchestra for A Christmas Story, the Musical, and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. When Broadway opens again, she will be in the orchestra for the new musical Flying Over Sunset at Lincoln Center Theatre. She was also the harpist for the national tour of the Tony award-winning musical Light in the Piazza, and fills in regularly at the Broadway show Wicked. Lynette is an integral part of Sax-O-Philm, Sounds and Sights of the 20’s, a multi-media concert production created by virtuoso saxophone player, Chad Smith.

She has shared the stage and studio with Megan Hilty, David Burnham, Lin- Manuel Miranda, Johnny Mathis, Marvin Hamlisch, Edgar Meyer, Yo-Yo Ma, Gil Shaham, Joshua Bell, Deborah Voigt, and Pavarotti. Ms. Wardle holds a Masters in Orchestral Performance from Manhattan School of Music.

Chad Smith     saxophone & woodwind artist

 

 

Chad is sought after as a Broadway, recording artist, and concert performer from New York to Los Angeles. He has been a member of the Broadway orchestras of Wicked, Legally Blonde, Follies, Christmas Story: The Musical, and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

 

He has performed with many prestigious orchestras, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Mostly Mozart Festival, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, New York Pops, American Symphony, New Jersey Symphony, and the Albany Symphony. 

 

Chad has shared the stage with Paquito D’Rivera, Vince Giordano, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, John Pizzarelli, The Temptations, Arturo Sandoval, Lady Gaga, Bernadette Peters, and Audra McDonald.

 

His movie credits include Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Secret Life Of Pets 2, Little, The Informant!, Ted 2, Extremely Close and Incredibly Loud, I Saw the Light, and Monsters University. Mr. Smith has been featured on television in Legally Blonde on MTV, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Grease on Fox, The Wiz and Hairspray on NBC, the Tony Awards on CBS, and the Academy Awards on ABC. You can also hear Chad on the TV shows Family Guy, American Dad, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Flash, Lucifer, Smash, The Simpsons, and Fosse/Verdon.

 

Chad has created Sax-O-Philm: Sounds and Sight’s of the 20’s.  Sax-O-Philm highlights the music of sax pioneer Rudy Wiedoeft accompanied by piano, harp and silent films, which he premiered at the 15th World Saxophone Congress in Bangkok.  This past summer, Sax-O-Philm grew to a fully-orchestrated show premiered by Chad and the Broadway Chamber Players.  To learn more about this exciting, entertaining and educational show, visit saxophilm.com.

 

Chad is an adjunct professor of saxophone at Montclair State University and founder/director of the Masters in Woodwind Specialization Program.  He is a Selmer Artist and D’Addario Clinician, and proudly performs on his mentor’s Al Gallodoro and Ted Hegvik’s gold-plated saxophones.
